porcini mushroom risotto with lamb chops

For a late New Year's dinner I made my boyfriend's grandmother's risotto recipe. It uses porcini mushrooms and a whole lot of arm power. 35 minutes of stirring later and I pan seared some lamb chops I had been marinating in a garlic, lemon and olive oil puree.

Dessert will be another lemon meringue pie.

When I was up in Buffalo for the Superbowl, my bf's dad taught me how to make risotto with mushrooms in it. I immediately went home and made a variation with tomatoes. So yummy!
